Pat was a recipient of Waitakere City Council's 'Unsung Heroes Award' for her years of volunteer work with Piha CoastCare and for bringing the NZ Dunes Restoration Trust 2009 Annual Conference to (Piha) Waitakere.  Lives permanently in Piha
